Maybe we should rename these easy-to-eat s’mores.

They take about thirty seconds to make, and about seventeen to eat. We would know. These are snacks that are made during desperate times, when all we want to do is open a box, punch in numbers on the microwave, and dig in.

Both of us make them often now, though the idea was originally Susanth’s. Some of you may be appalled that we are not using a campfire to make s’mores, but if you have easy access to a fire pit in your kitchen, please invite us over; we’d love to see it. These taste almost as good, we promise.

The ingredients are simple, and you most likely have all of them in your kitchen right now. Seriously. Go check.

Maria Cookies, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and mini peanut butter cups (optional.) Forget about the sugar, you don’t actually need it.

In fact, these are so simple that we’re not even giving you a recipe. Just follow the pictures!

Take two Maria biscuits (we find these at the Indian store, but I know you can also find them in the Spanish section of your grocery store. We like these better than graham crackers because they don’t soften in the microwave) and arrange some chocolate chips and mini marshmallows on the “bottoms” of the crackers.

You can also use these mini peanut butter cups, which are the best invention ever. Unless you’re allergic to peanuts.

See? Just place three or four on the cracker.

Put your plate in the microwave for thirty seconds or until the marshmallows puff up and the chocolate is slightly melted.
